Benjamin Wolf is a musician and academic. He regularly performs as conductor, pianist and singer, and also works as a composer. In the past academic year he has worked as a visiting lecturer in the Music Departments of Royal Holloway and Bristol universities, and he has recently been appointed as lecturer in music at Regent's College, London. In other recent news, The Royal Free Music Society has recently held its Spring concert, featuring music for the Royal Jubilee. Its next concert will be on June 23rd 2012. bOYbershop will be performing in a concert on June 24th. Benjamin has also recently performed his final concert with the Rushmoor Choir, featuring the Mozart Requiem (assisted by members of the Wallace Ensemble).
Highlights of 2011:
2011 was a busy year, with new teaching positions and plenty of concerts. The Zemel Choir visited Berlin and Strasbourg, and the Rushmoor Choir performed in Italy. RFMS performed choral favourites by Vivaldi, Mozart and others, and bOYbershop helped to raise money for the Alan Senitt Memorial Trust and Camp Simcha. Belsize Square Synagogue choir helped to say goodbye to Rabbi Rodney Mariner and Cantor Norman Cohen Falah, and also played host to a silent film with special accompaniment performed by the Zemel Choir and the Wallace Ensemble.
